Absolutely loved my stay in Corn Cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Allan was very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money, I would not hesitate to book this cottage again. Thank you.

If you’re looking for a quite ‘get away from it all’ place to stay (that’s not TOO far from civilisation!) then Corn Cottage is the place for you. Not too big that you feel lost, nor too small that you feel cramped - and everything was clean and tidy, and worked! Ok, so the WiFi wasn’t the fastest but it was adequate unless everyone is on their iPad/phone at the same time. But you don’t go on holiday to a rural retreat to work or, at least, we didn’t 😀 Berwick and Alnwick are less than 30 minutes away - both have decent shops and supermarkets for your needs. I’m not convinced the beds were ‘King Size’ (as described) but they were comfy enough. We had a wonderfully relaxing time - despite Storm Babet throwing some horrendous weather our way - and temporarily knocking out the electricity! Alan reassured us that it *was* temporary, and so it proved to be. All in all, Corn Cottage was perfect for what we were looking for. Highly recommended.

Corn Cottage was a delightful place to stay, in the peaceful countryside of Northumberland, just a couple of minutes drive off the A1 and a few minutes walk to the coast and with numerous places of interest within 30 minutes drive of the property, we found it an ideal location. The photos and description were accurate and the accommodation was comfortable, warm and cosy. We found the porch area to be very useful for boots, outdoor gear etc. The garden area, accessed through one of the bedrooms was pleasant to sit in too, (when a decorator wasn't painting an adjacent property). As a helpful note to others, not a complaint, because we had our own supplies with us, but there was no tea, coffee, milk or condiments at the property. Also be aware it wasn't particularly easy to find places to eat in the local town of Belford, other than at a weekend and on Holy Island, without a booking. We would recommend this property and would be very happy to stay there again.

Corn cottage is an excellent place to stay. Quiet location but perfect for exploring the Northumberland coast and national park. The host left a wonderful welcome pack and we wanted for nothing. A washer/dryer was useful and plenty of parking outside the cottage. All in all we had a great holiday at corn cottage.

Very stylish, loved the mezzanine and its views. The provision of books, dvds, cds and games were much appreciated and the welcome hamper added that extra touch. The cottage was sparkling clean. We would love to visit again. Thankyou!
