This is a beloved home. what a welcome when we arrived!! Fresh flowers everywhere and an excellent large basket of goodies greeted us plus a coffee and walnut cake!! perfect for a birthday weekend. The house is spotless!! surrounded by beautiful mature gardens and lots of wildlife. There is little light at night and barely any traffic. Blissful!!! We even had a real fire the one night with the logs and coal left by Becky the host. The duvet smelt utterly fabulous! The towels thick and luxurious. Every item we needed to use for cooking etc was available in the cupboards and drawers. This is now top of our favourite list!! We had a wonderful, chilled out time away from the rest of the world!! We had some snow and star filled skies. Highly recommended!!
Lovely stay at the old post office. Place was cosy and warm, with options to improve if needed. Very comfortable and quaint. Garden with visitors (birds and even a rabbit) visiting daily. Area was quiet but only a short drive from local amenities. Hosts was very responsive and helpful.
it was a great place to stay in countryside. Very warm and lovely quite environment
The Old Post Office is a lovely property and was great value for money during our stay. The property had everything we needed, timely communication from the host and would recommend if looking for a rural setting close to Hereford
The Old Post Office was in Ruckhall a wonderful spot near to Hereford yet in the middle of no where in seemed. Perfect as a peaceful setting. The cottage was wonderfully warm and welcoming as was the owner Becky who left us a basket of treats and even something for my friends dog, who also came along. Definitely recommend as a peaceful and comfortable place, with plenty of walking opportunities and for visiting Hereford.
