We initially booked Williams place from May 1st till end of July but left on May 30th. On May 3, 11 PM we heard a loud bang and found the ceiling tiles in the bathroom had fallen and broken. At around 2 AM we heard another loud and longer bang went back to the bathroom and found that more ceiling tiles had fallen, this time worse than before and so we took a picture and sent it to William immediately. For our safety and that of our infant we couldn't use the bathroom - the only one in the unit. William did not come to check out the problem till 8pm on the 4th. And did not remove the rest of the tiles till the 6th. The bathroom ceiling was not fixed as of when we checked out. Other cons - After listing parking as included, William abruptly mentioned it is no longer included and so I had to pay for public parking daily -Kitchen appliances are very old -'living area' is very small' -house sectioned with multiple units -unkept environment Pros -renovated bedrooms -good neighbourhood
The house was as described and functional for a long-term stay. William is a very nice and helpful host. Happy to start my new chapter in Toronto here :)
Great stay! The house is so clean and nice; we love the drawings in each room :) I will miss the experience of sleeping in the wide and clean bed in the house. The location is also good. In less than one minute walk, you find a station for the street car. You can buy some light meals and drink at three stars variety, located in front of the house. Supermarkets are 10 minute's walk from the house. William is so kind and friendly. He is surely one of the best owners of Airbnb! I appreciate that our family could start our life in Toronto from William's place.
Great stay! Amazing location for walking to surrounding neighborhoods and super easy access to multiple transport options for going anywhere in the city! The space is exactly as advertised and very clean. I stayed for almost a month and wished I could stay there longer! There is so much around to do in the neighborhood and this is a wonderful place to stay while you are in Toronto!

I work for the bank during the day and manage the property in my spare time. I use to live in the space myself after renovating it but decided to give Airbnb a try to interact with new people and get more advice when travelling to other people's home countries. Outside of work I enjoy running, eating, renovations, board games and watching movies. I am also trying to get a refrigerator magnet collection going of countries that people have visited from. If you would like to contribute I can add it to the fridge.
