In August 2023, we enjoyed a memorable month-long workcation. Our toddler lovingly refers to the property as "Vacation Home." Keith was consistently responsive and helpful. Access was effortless, thanks to clear instructions. Situated a mile from downtown Kona, it's pleasantly less crowded than Oahu, KOA airport is eight miles away. Hilo is about an 1.5 hour drive away. We frequented the community pool, making friends with neighbors who were truly delightful. Shout out to Paul and the crew. The townhouse was clean and the HOA takes great care of the common areas. Accurate photos and descriptions spared us any surprises. The well-stocked kitchen eliminated immediate grocery runs, and Keith provided all essential beach/pool gear, even a kid swim vest. Keith's recent upgrade to fiber internet ensured seamless streaming and Zoom calls. However, given Hawaii's high electricity costs, we couldn't indulge in continuous A/C use. Ceiling fans and a tower fan kept us comfortable.

Keith was a great host. Very communicative and friendly, and helpful throughout. The place was recently redone, and is an excellent set-up for families, including a well-stocked kitchen and beach toys closet. We did a long-term stay, which worked out very well. We'd stay again!

Lovely house, all the gear is included, the host is very responsive. Could not wish for better to prepare for Ironman World Championship. Only 2 miles from start and by the run course. We stayed for 6 weeks and everything worked great. Even the pantry was somewhat filled out, so you can survive the morning after arriving late in the night. The gated community does come with a lot of rules, especially towards tiniest of noise. But the upside is that it's really quiet (besides the wild chicken and roosters, which is unavoidable in Hawaii anyway). I would definitely come again, especially convenient for Ironman.
