The room itself was beautiful and clean and had all the amenities we needed except that the top bunk had no rail on one side and it was not against a wall as it looked in the pictures, so my kids could not safely sleep there. The amenities were definitely not as advertised. The water slide had some net hung above it that I got stuck in, the pool was ok when the filters were on though. The pool on our deck was ok until dark when it became full of bugs since we had the lights on while we were out there. There is NO zip line or walking trails as advertised (saw what we thought was the zip line it was covered in jungle, and could not see any trails and there was nobody there that knew anything about them). The bridge appears quite unsafe and leads from one room to another so I felt intrusive being up there. Was fine for what we needed, and laundry was nice, but disappointed that we drove so out of the way for amenities that were not there.

This place is great if you’re looking for a place right outside of Manuel Antonio. Pros: multiple pools, the pool area has a fun slide, a jacuzzi with bubbles, and lounging outdoor bed, and big open table. Away from any city or traffic. Friendly neighbors. There’s wifi and a/c. The washer and dryer work great. The fridge is large. Lots of cooking utensils. Cons: lots of bugs but that’s Costa Rica! This place is on the edge all the other houses in the area so it’s backyard is a jungle. Every night we have to scoop out 4-5 bugs/animals (small lizard haha). But there’s a can of bug killer in there for the ants that come in, which we were so thankful for!
