16 of us stayed here for a weekend getaway and we couldn't have asked for a better home. The house was beautiful with fabulous surroundings for walks. The facilities were brilliant with plenty of bathrooms and space in the bedrooms. The dining room was perfect for us to enjoy dinners together and play games. The caretaker Sophie was incredibly helpful in the lead up to our stay and provided all relevant information well in advance. We didn't want to leave and we would love to stay here again. Great memories in this fabulous home.

18 of us stayed over the coronation weekend to celebrate birthdays and of course the coronation! The house was perfect for us, it really was a home from home. Plenty of space inside and outside to roam around and explore the countryside. We played endless games of cricket and football, BBQ’d and had a lovely walk up onto the moors with not another person in sight! The kids had a fantastic time playing in the little beck while the adults enjoyed chatting in the sun with a beer and a Prosecco or two! We couldn’t have asked for a better family weekend away, I would highly recommend Baysdale Abbey. Liz xx

Really great place for a large group get together - we were 5 families with kids from 0-11. Impressive but also relaxed and comfortable, amazing remote location.

This is a brilliant property for large groups and kids. Such beautiful gardens and surroundings snack bang in the middle of glorious nature. The house has everything you could need including a good amount of crockery and cutlery, two ovens, two dishwashers and loads of bathrooms. The caretakers Sophie and Oscar were so communicative, friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great house in a great location. We were only a party of six but I can say very definitely that this house is perfect for much larger groups. Loads of communal space and very well equipped. The beds are really comfortable and the whole house has an easy grandeur about it. Jemima the house keeper lives on site and was easy to communicate with about check in and check out arrangements. The house is right in amongst the moors. Footpaths and excellent (challenging) cycling are all around. We loved our visit and will definitely be back.
