The house is located on a small farm in north Iceland. Guests have a lot of privacy in the house as it stands alone. You might see our horses and even sheep close to the house. Our dog and cat are friendly and might pay you a visit. You can go for short walks among horses, sheep and birds in a varied landscape. During the winter, there is a unique experience to sit in the hot tub and watch the northern lights. The house is a good place for home office due to high speed wi-fi and facilities. This is a spacious, well equipped and furnished cottage, where you can enjoy the icelandic nature from inside in a relaxing and quiet environment.

Wow! Really nice house with all of the amenities, including a well-outfitted kitchen. As lots of people have noted, the hot tub is sensational. Awesome to be able to fill it up with geothermally heated water. Holmfridur was super helpful and attentive. She usually responded to my messages in minutes. We felt very well taken care of. And what a remarkably beautiful place. The snow on the ground, the endless vistas, the horses feeding in the near distance. Simply magical.
A wonderful location, not far from the more famous locations in Northern Iceland. However, it is just far enough to give a sense of calm away from the storm during a busy trip. The accommodations were wonderful and gave a true sense of being home away from home. We had a great time viewing the northern lights under truly dark skies. The hosts were fabulously responsive to any requests or questions that we had. You can't go wrong booking a stay at this wonderful location!
Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage, ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und vom heißen Pool aus Nordlichter zu beochten war einfach nur wunderbar. RC
