Nestled in the forested hills of near by San Cristobal. This place is very peaceful, wonderful views of the hilly surroundings from the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a nice bbq. The property houses 6 units and is very safe, located within a gated community with security guards at the main gate. Inside the apartment, you will find everything you need for a long stay, the kitchen is well equipped for cooking during a long stay. It's quiet, the mattress and bedding are good, there is hot water at all times, good fast wifi with a starlink back-up. Daniela is very responsive and accommodating, and Vic who is taking care of of anything you may need is always there to help. You will not regret your stay here. The only thing to keep in mind is, if you like having conveniences of various restaurants and shops near by at all times then this place may not be the best option for you. It's a 10 minute ride to town.

A great place for relaxing and as a home base for exploring. We love walking and hiking and once we figured out logistics it was easy to get around. For example, we went for a 5km (round-trip) walk/hike to Parque Encuentro. To get there catch a Colectivo out by the gate that is going up the hill (past Las Peras) and get off at the river, by Gaia's Glamping and walk in 1/2 hour to the park gate. There is a nice viewpoint hike there. Open Wednesday through Sunday. Another day, we got off just before that (at Sol. San Nicholas and Periferico) for a nice country walk into town, passing a cute open-air garden restaurant (Vivero Te quiero Verde on maps) where we had a snack. Going to Centro or catching the shuttle to the airport we took a taxi. The roof-top terrace has a wonderful view. The kitchen was well equipped. Daniela, as well as the custodian, Victor, was always very kind, helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

todo perfecto !!! viaje con mis dos perritas y fue muy cómodo, Vic muy atento me ayudó con taxis, siempre pendiente, todos los espacio limpios, la hamaca un detalle inigualable., seguramente regresaré.. Daniela muy amable

El lugar es tal cual las fotos pero sin duda alguna la atención es lo que te hace querer regresar.. Daniela, Victor y Eunice Gracias por hacernos sentir como en casa. Estamos más que agradecidos por la atención que recibimos en todo momento y por ayudarme con la entrega del anillo 🫢¡Ella dijo que SI..! Siempre es un placer encontrar gente que se esfuerza más allá de lo debido. Sin duda alguna es un lugar al cual vamos a volver..

Such a great place. We will always stay at Casas de Agua anytime we are in San Cris.
