there are steep stairs to get into your room. Once you hit the landing then there are no stairs in the room But Please note if you cannot do stairs this is not the place for you. This is a single room only. Private entrance to the room and the catwalk/stairs lead directly onto the beach. Inside the room there is a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, tea and towels, beach items needed for your stay. At this time there is no kitchen and laundry areas available for use. You are locked out of the main area for your privacy. There is a toaster, small refrigerator with small freezer, microwave, coffee pot, k-pods and a kettle.

This is such a gem, right on the beach and the perfect getaway. The beach itself is expansive and lovely for long walks. The room is simple and has all that one might need for a weekend stay.
The beach is right outside your door! You can see the waves and hear them crash all night long from the small room. It’s a very relaxing place with a comfortable firm mattress. Coffee and snacks are provided. Plenty of towels are available. We really enjoyed our stay. Communication with Dorothea was easy and she was very prompt with responses.
Dotty provided everything needed to make our beach trip perfect!

The neighborhood is a semi secluded development. You must have a car to get to stores and shops. Closest restaurants are about 5 min away and if you are a walker you can get to them via the beach. It’s about a 2.5 walk along the beach and up a path to Seascape Resort. A small Grocery store with a deli, Mexican, Chinese and pizza restaurants are in the village along with a resort with a bar and full service restaurant, larger stores are located about 15 mins away in Watsonville or Aptos.
Santa Cruz boardwalk can be up to a 30 min drive away depending on traffic, Capitola is 15 mins away, Monterey and Carmel within an hours drive
Reservations are encouraged but not required for restaurants
Car, Lyft or Uber are the only ways to get around
