We had a great stay here. Great beach view, all the dishes and cookware you need. AC worked great. All appliances worked well. lots of space. We will stay again.

Amazing views of the gulf, it sits on the beach, spacious, great location, host had quick communication. It's infested with cockroaches and ants, there was a dirty toilet with urine on it, pet hair on fabric surfaces including beds & rugs, bedding stains, thick dust, most appliances were in need of repair, dirty counter tops, hairballs & food left in a bedroom, overgrown lawn, surveillance camera that wasn't mentioned in the listing, moldy showers, wasn't properly swept as the corners of all rooms had dead bugs, it just wasn't very clean. When the host was notified and shown many photos of the condition including the few dozen cockroaches that we saw he was very dismissive and provided an empty apology. Overall, this house is in a good location but the lack of cleanliness and customer service was really off putting.

This beach home is amazing! It is neat and attractive with a gorgeous view and access to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked. The bedrooms are roomy with large bathrooms. There was extensive attention to details that made our stay relaxing and comfortable. The living room and dining areas are roomy and comfortable. We had a great stay.

We are never disappointed when we stay at Mariposa. It’s one of our most favorite places to vacation in Texas. The location of the house, the full amenities, the absolute ease of checking in and communicating with George… all make up a superbly memorable experience for our friends and family.

We loved EVERYTHING about this place. Attention to details was great - beautiful grill, hose to wash your car off, beach towels at door, cooking utensils, coffee options, lamps in just the right places, super comfortable bed, reclining couches and the VIEW!
