Amazing apartment in a good neighborhood with lots of good restaurants. Great building with great doormen. Unfortunately pretty thin walls so you can hear everything your neighbors and people in the street are doing. Also very difficult to get a hold of Blueground sales team of you need help.

Very spacious one bedroom in a safe doorman building with a nice basement laundry room. Unit was spotlessly clean on check-in, and an extra set of sheets and towels is supplied in the closet. Good A/C. Outstanding location on the UWS, one block from a gem of a community garden with Shakespeare in the summer, wonderful to sit and read surrounded by a glorious array of summer blossoms. 2 blocks from Central Park, and multiple markets and restaurants nearby. Cons: Older building with multiple maintenance issues which Blueground was responsive too eventually, but not the swift direct communication that I've usually experienced with Airbnb. Calls go through an international call center and it can take days to get help through Blueground. I just worked directly with the super on some issues. Unit was lacking kitchen towels, broom, mop, bucket etc. which when requested were swiftly supplied through amazon delivery with high quality products, much appreciated. Functional modern furniture but on the cheap side. Highly recommend that Blueground improves the lighting - the unit is a dark with no overhead lighting except in the kitchen. Impossible to turn lights on in living room or bedroom with a wall switch. There is a maddening array of small cheap floor lamps spread throughout, each with a different mechanism for turning on (switch on the floor, switch on the cord, reach hand inside lampshade, etc). The living room alone has 6 separate lamps and you have to walk around turning each on. The bedroom is always dark with inadequate lighting at night. I suggest they install some track lighting in each room.
