Very personable and the view was really nice. lots of wildlife in the area. Ted and Lorraine were super nice and offered places to go and where to fish. I went to hike and flyfish and the location was good for several different areas with reasonable drive times. The town of Greenville was damaged by fire and they are in the process of rebuilding but there is a grocery store gas station and of course a Dollar General... find those in caves I'm certain of it... and also a nice coffee stand as well. The cabin is quaint and it's very peaceful. There are lakes nearby as well. I will certainly be back early summer to experience a lot more the area has to offer!!

Indian Valley Retreat was a nice find for our weekend getaway. It was cozy, warm, and welcoming. It was easy to find, and the view just outside the door was wonderful. The cottage is peaceful and quiet. We did not meet Ted but met Lorraine, who was friendly and helpful with suggested scenic drives. The cottage is on their property but very private. We were gone exploring our one full day there, but enjoyed relaxing in the evenings when we arrived and after our day out. Since we were only in the cottage a matter of hours we appreciated the value of this inexpensive, comfortable getaway. Greenville and the surrounding area are coming back from the Dixie Fire, and the beauty of the area remains. This is a great place to retreat, and to unplug if you want. There is no TV but good WiFi if you want or need it. A convenient base for exploring, easy to find yourself away from everyone, and a great little place to come back to for a great sunset and pleasant evening.
