Oh my goodness! This place was amazing! The Casita was decorated beautifully. Absolutely anything you might need was there. The king sized bed was so comfortable. Sitting on the patio and watching the deer might have been my favorite part. Oh and did I mention the field of bluebonnets that greeted us as we pulled through the gate? We truly loved our time here.

My husband, three-year old, and I had a lovely stay at the Casita! It was spotlessly clean and had lots of little touches we appreciated like a step-stool so our son could easily reach the sink, toys, comfy chairs, table and bbq area on the deck, and both ceramic and paper plates for eating (just mentioning a few, but there were a lot!) The king bed was super comfortable, and the views from the cabin were dreamy. Sherry and David took us to feed the goats and chickens which was really fun for our three-year old. They are fantastic hosts! Glen Rose makes a great trip, with lots of things to do. The Casita was perfect because it was quiet and private, but also only 10 min from Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Valley SP and downtown Glen Rose. Highly recommend!

Sherry and David were some of the best host we’ve had in a long time. They are such nice people with beautiful souls! Their hospitality was so amazing! Thank you for letting our kiddos feed your goats and chickens and letting us roam around on your land. We made some very memorable memories! Oh and the La Casita were so beautiful! I mean breathtaking, peaceful and just nice! We felt right at home. We are definitely planning to visit again. This was definitely one of the best ways to bring in my 30th birthday, peaceful and a break away from the city. Thank you so much again for sharing your home with us. Til next time friends!

We had a great stay. The bed is comfortable, and the kids were great on the pull out couch. The towels were soft and plentiful. The kitchen had enough for us to make breakfasts and lunches easily and the grill was great for dinner. The patio had an amazing view with deer, pond, and surrounding area. It was very peaceful to sit and chat after our adventures during the day. We were very happy to stay and will be back. Sherry and David were great hosts and very nice people. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

The Casita is a magical place to stay. It’s a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of normal daily living and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Sherry and David have a warm and graciousness that is unmatched from any other host! The attention to detail in the Casita down to the extra toothbrush in the bathroom is so thoughtful. Sherry and David were kind enough to let my children feed their animals with them, and just made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend staying here as it will step you out of your normal life and into a place of magic!
