Amazing grand old world château on the fringe of a quiet village in the heart of Champagne. Catherine is both kind and enthusiastic in her attention to guests. Her breakfast was a treat. The rooms are large and functional with a contemporary twist. Five stars!

Das ist eine wunderbare Unterkunft auf einem sehr schönen stilvollen alten Anwesen. Ein sehr leckeres Frühstück ist Teil des Angebots. Catherine kümmert sich sehr um ihre Gäste und gibt viele Hinweise für Besuche der Champagne-Region und von Reims.

Château de Courmelois is a fantastic property, with rich history and delightful owners. My wife and I chose to stay with Catherine and Moncef because their home looked amazing, and because other reviews mentioned that the hosts could provide tremendous recommendations for restaurants and champagne tastings. If you have any hesitation about your local plans, you can depend on your hosts to steer you in the right direction, and even to make a call on your behalf. The room we stayed in was spacious, well appointed, and beautifully remodeled. The breakfast was glorious, and in the evening you can count on being regaled with marvelous stories about the history of the property, and how its owners discovered it. If you are looking for a quiet, out of the way place in the countryside, look no further. You will enjoy a relaxing stay, about 30 minutes from Reims, and close to some very charming champagne houses and restaurants. I cannot more vigorously endorse Catherine and Moncef, and I very much look forward to a return visit.
