First Airbnb experience and a pretty good one. Sandy is very easy to reach and sent us good directions. The driveway is a little steep and we found head in easier (we have cameras to assist backing out). Gravel drive (at the top) meant it didn't get muddy which was a plus because it rained. Entry was easy. The location was good for us, we came for the hiking and didn't take advantage of local businesses so we can't comment on them. Found the Nada trail head on the way out, it's right across the street; maybe next time. I found the kitchen to be well stocked with the proper equipment though I could have used some foil and oil. I brought all the other staples I needed. The quality of the linens was very good, the showerhead and shower were wonderful and the hottub a blessing for 60 something bones after hiking. Furnace and AC worked beautifully. The best thing is spring. Around the cabin I counted more than 27 different spring ephemerals. If you go I listed them in the guest book.

We only had one night and that’s our o ky complaint! I wish I could have been here all week. It was peaceful, the cabin was clean, just all around great! We also were able to check-in early after reaching out to Sandy and Gene due to the weather. Thank you for a great stay!!!

We did not have any issues finding the place using the directions Sandy gave us. We were in a full-sized truck, and found that it was easier to back up the drive way (or drive up and back down if you prefer), as it was very difficult to turn the truck around once up the driveway. However, I’m sure it would be much easier to maneuver a smaller vehicle. Getting in the cabin was easy, and it was as described. The shower downstairs was nice, and we really appreciated the half bath upstairs. There was also a full sized washer and dryer that really came in handy. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was clean and well maintained. They have also upgraded to smart tvs, which seemed to be a complaint from some older reviews. My only complaint would be that the bed seemed to be more of double size than a queen size, and the headboard was a bit squeaky. We did not communicate with Sandy during our stay, but she was quick to respond the two times I messaged her (once before our stay and once after).
