Susan’s place was perfectly peaceful and adorable. A great spot for a little solo getaway or for couples. There is a little group of shops to walk to but there is lots to do about a 20 minute drive away. Perfect base if you want to explore more of the north coast.

Such a sweet place with a great view of the river and ocean. Susan’s place was perfect for our little overnight getaway, it was very relaxing and peaceful.

Susen’s place is a gem! The love and care she has put into it shows. We loved the stunning views from the picture window including waking up to them right from our bed. The garden that she personally tends to was peaceful, private and inviting. Everything was so charming — the space was beautifully utilized and set up, from soft sheets, thoughtful coffee/snacks, artwork, and lovely fluffy towels. Susen’s warm hospitality and responsiveness made our stay wonderful. Her location is easily walkable to the amazing Cafe Aquatica with river views, which we enjoyed in the morning (try their delicious smoked lox bagel). Incredible location to access all the stunning beaches on the coast including the Goat Rock Beach, and an easy drive to Duncan’s Landing and Guerneville where we enjoyed the Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve (highly recommend!) We were so grateful to be hosted for a couple serene nights during our Sonoma Coast adventure, and would not hesitate to return. Thank you, Susen!
