Lovely little single dwelling, perfect for a short stay and base. Sarah was very friendly and accommodating and ensured my stay was as comfortable as possible. Nice touch to have some milk in fridge and shortbread biscuits. Local pub and amenities 1.5 miles walk so walkable if you don’t want to drive. Although the Dairy is small you have everything you need for your stay. Would highly recommend and excellent value!

The Dairy was ideal for me, as someone staying alone and spending long periods out exploring the local area. It was very clean, with a particularly comfortable sofa bed that came complete with a nice warm duvet (very welcome, in view of the unseasonably cold late-April weather). The host provided very clear directions for getting there, as well as clear information regarding arrival, check-in and check-out.

A brilliant choice for single travellers. High quality fittings & linen and makes the very best use of a small but comfortable space. Parking space right outside in quiet lane with as many horses as cars passing by. Beautiful New Forest in walking distance & close by car to some lovely coastal walks. Great option if like me you are visiting family & friends but like your own space. Sarah is a very attentive & friendly host & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Dairy.

Highly recommended place for a solo traveller. The Dairy is in a perfect quiet location of Thorney Hill between Burley (cafes, souvenir shops) and Bransgore (shops, post office, cash point) - both can be reached by car in 5 minutes. There are so many things to do in the area that one is spoilt for choice. Sarah is a very knowledgeable host; if you are interested in the area's history, she has lots of interesting facts to share. Also, if you are lucky, you might hear clippety cloppety sounds in the morning and spot a donkey grazing outside the gate:)
