I had the pleasure of staying at this charming ski chalet for an end of season ski weekend that surprised us with over 2 feet of snow! The house is well maintained, the interior tasteful & inviting. Mountain setting was private, safe, everything was well lit, properly labeled, well thought out, and welcoming instruction booklet answered any questions. It felt like a home away from home. A highlights of our stay was the extras provided by the hosts. From the supplemental stocked kitchen, (coffee, light snacks, PT, TP, trash bags) and extra towels, blankets, linens, toiletries seasoned firewood etc. The driveway was plowed, walkways shoveled in a timely manner after the snowstorm. The Stratton shuttlebus conveniently stopped at our driveway. It was evident the hosts went above & beyond to anticipate their guests' needs. Evolve was very responsive via email to the slightest request. When leaving our entire party looked at their phones and planned our return trip! We will be back here!

Overall it is a great place to Stay, and it’s very convenient location to Stratton - literally few mins drive. House is clean, quiet. However, communication needs to be improved. I left a green sweater in the airbnb, it took a few days to get back to me and it has been over a week, and I’m still waiting for them to confirm if they can find it.

The sauna door is broken, there’s a note stuck to the outside of the door saying “do not shut”, but you can easily get locked inside, which I did. There’s nothing on the inside of the sauna  to warn you. Fortunately, people were home and  could pick the lock to get me out. Worse, though, was the wretched septic stank- it was very strong from the downstairs and upstairs bathrooms, you could even smell it outside, approaching the house. We alerted Evolve to the smell Friday evening, they said they were going to look into it. Then on Sunday, said that they hoped it wasn’t too terrible. We were smelling noxious, rotten egg / sewage fumes all weekend. Hopefully not toxic for our two families staying at the house!

Great location, just a minute's drive from Stratton base lodge. Cozy home with lots of attention to detail.
