The cabin was quaint and cute, perfect for our stay. The location was amazing with views all around, not to mention the lovely cafe with exceptional food and service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Only down side was the mattress, might be time for a new one!

Doe Bay Resort & Retreat is about a 45 minute drive from the Orcas ferry terminal. People enjoy Doe Bay for it's quiet location and breath-taking views overlooking the Salish Sea. Our guests have nearby access to Moran State Park on foot or can choose from a number of trail heads with a short 10 minute drive.
Most people hop on a ferry at the Washington State ferry terminal in Anacortes. We recommend making a ferry reservation to secure your 1 hour ferry ride to and from Orcas Island. Doe Bay is about 45 minutes from the Orcas ferry terminal. Other options for on-island transportation are taxi, bicycle, and hitch-hicking.
