such a beautiful place in the best spot in town! you can't go wrong with this incredible place. First it's pretty rare to get such a big space in the best location for that price so that already was a win. Place is beautifully designed with eclectic chic. You do have lots of stairs in the house but you get the whole 'building' - for me that was a plus as I definitely needed the workout from all the delicious food 😅 everything was great, convenient and comfortable. I definitely recommend and would certainly go again. Communication was smooth and easy, friendly and prompt. Doesn't get better than this imho.

Tired, shabby and in need of maintenance, not a "palace" or "luxurious" as described. The photographs reflected what the apartment looked like years ago, little maintenance has been done. Bare wires, decorators scaffolding, warped laminate floor boards, for eg. Art and artifacts above functionality. The bedroom lacked basic facilities, with no wardrobe or hangers, we lived out of a suitcase, which felt like camping. The chest of draws was grubby and not fit for purpose. The bed had seen better days and the quality of the bedding & towels were poor. One towel each for 10 days, no linen change. The kitchen was basic, equipped with most essentials but nothing over an above that such as a coffee maker, toaster or dishwasher. A jar of Nescafe was provided; nobody I know has drunk instant coffee since the 1970s. The property has an excessive amount of indoor plants; we were not told in advance that someone would need to come a water these during our stay. Lihi was amazing.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The area is amazing, it is a 2 minute walk from the beach and close to amazing restaurants and shops. There were some points, however, that while not exactly negative would have been preferable to be aware of in advance. First, the host will want to come water her plants every few days, and you will need to coordinate with her for this. It isn’t all that inconvenient, but it does require some effort to figure out, and does involve the host entering the space while you stay there. Secondly, the water heater takes a long while (around 2 hours) to get the water genuinely hot instead of just warm. It can be annoying when you’ve had a long day out in the heat or at the beach to wait that long, you may want to turn it on before you go out. Finally, there was a mildew-like smell every now and then coming from the bathroom that radiates through the space. These caveats aside, it is on the whole a good location and the host was nice and communicative.
