Fantastic atmosphere and a great intimate stay
BOOK THIS STAY NOW! We LOVED this accommodation for our stay in Gainesville. The wrap around porch with so many seating options was so lovely and the jacuzzi tub made for a super relaxing stay. The property itself if also super gorgeous with lots of calming fountains and paths to walk on. Location is also great for walking to downtown and good parking on site. I hope to stay here again!
Cindy and Joe were absolutely incredible. They were both so kind and their property was beautiful. Cindy and Joe went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We are the first and longest running bed and breakfast in Gainesville, Florida. Opened in 1990, the Magnolia Plantation is still run by Joe and Cindy Montalto; the same people who saw the old Baird Mansion in the late 80's and said "we can do something with that". We are licensed by the Department of Business and Professional Regulations , inspected by the Health Department and in full compliance with all life safety codes. Today the Magnolia Plantation is made up of the original Baird Mansion along with 9 cottages. We are a firm believer in the Florida Gators and bottles of wine. Those two things usually go together.
