Whilst we did have a good overall stay at the property, we definitely encountered some issues which we didn't expect given the other positive reviews of the property. The property is advertised as 1.5 bathrooms on AirBnB but it's actually just 1 bathroom. There was also significant mould on the ceiling of one of the living rooms (looked like it had been recently plasterboarded over, but the plasterboard was also covered in black mould), this made the room unusable for us. Also, the property just felt a bit grubby round the edges including kitchenware which we ended up washing before use. Positives include comfy beds, nice bedding, beautiful gardens and responsive & helpful host.

Poppy’s place in Ramsbottom is a wonderful house with comfy beds and an amazing bathroom - with one of the best showers we have ever had! A great location and very homely! Than you!!

Great quirky cottage close to some nice walks and 15 minute stroll to Ramsbottom.

This enormous period property made for an unforgettable birthday celebration. Me and my friends are already planning to return in Summer when we can make use of the massive garden space. Can’t recommend enough

This is the 4th time I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Poppy’s place, and it never disappoints. It’s been the perfect setting for some great celebrations. The home is beautiful, with amazing attention to detail, and in such a beautiful location for some great walks. The cost for the stay is amazing value, - most homes of this quality are priced a lot higher. Poppys communication and check in instructions are brilliant. I can’t recommend this home away from home enough, and always look forward to my next stay!
