The place is in beautiful location with beautiful mountains, it's quiet and relaxing. It's very worth the trip, if you want to enjoy views and relax.

Beautiful view! Truly a one of a kind view from the back porch. Wifi was not fast enough for us to stream video - i.e. we couldnt watch tv or youtube or use zoom/Skype. Fyi there is no hot water. Also, if you plan cook, be aware that the kitchen might be missing some things, for example it was missing a cutting board and there wasn't a good sharp knife. It's a bit of a precarious drive up the driveway to get to the place. The neighborhood itself also has very windey narrow roads with lots of other cars driving, pretty unique experience, white knuckle driving at times, but fun and beautiful views. You cant really walk anywhere from here, you have to drive. Closest hiking trails are 30-60 min drive. We were sheltering in place here during covid19, so the parents couldn't cook for us like they normally do for guests. The parents of the owner are in the house next door. They kinda blasted loud Christian radio almost 24/7, so be ready for that. Lots of chickens, cows, and dogs at all the houses in the neighborhood. We tried going for walks in the steep neighborhood and lots of little dogs chased us and barked at us, and owners weirdly just kind of stared, but we did a bunch of walks anyway. Did I mention the roads are crazy steep? There was a peacock at one house. We had 2 full size cockroaches appearances in the master bedroom, one on my girlfriend's leg at night. We think they came in from outside, it didnt seem like a full on infestation, so no big deal just an annoyance. Lots of mosquitoes of course. The beds arent especially comfortable, and only the master bedroom has AC. Overall it was a good experience, good price, mostly as advertised. The owner frequently contacted us to make sure we were ok.
