A lovely lodge with everything you need for a quiet and relaxing stay! Irene provided lots of useful information about the local area too which was a lovely touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Irene's Fairhaven Lodge. Everything was fabulous and the little extra treats were a bonus. Irene was super helpful with her knowledge of the area and information given about where to spend our time. We had a lovely (but rainy and wet!) 3 hour walk up a nearby mountain and had a wonderful lunch at Raebarn Garden Centre (recommended by Irene). We ate at a bistro for dinner one evening but thought the price didn't match the food served unfortunately. We visited two castles, both very different - Crathes and Drum - which we all loved. We would definitely recommend Irene's lodge - a peaceful little hideaway with a hot tub that we enjoyed after long days out exploring. Everything was immaculate, bedrooms, bathrooms and living area. Towels provided, although we did bring our own for the hot tub also. Little comforts that were an added bonus for us; the charging facilities for the children's gadgets and the board games which provided lots of entertainment!
