Piet is amiable and engaging. My stay at his place was entirely enjoyable. Piet even lit the fire for me and made me feel at home. I would gladly stay over, anytime.

This was a very clean and tidy house. Did have problems finding the house in the dark as footpath work was being done which I had not been told about. Also the lockbox was different to any I had seen before and I had a problem opening it. Had to phone Piet and was treated very gruffly. A lovely fire was going and lights were all on but with no communication with the owner I was unsure of the boundries of what I could and could not do or if I was there alone or not. Bed was very comfortable and warm bedding for a cold night. Lovely outlook over the river. Would be happy to stay again but with better communication from the host. Did not use the kitchen as I had my own food due to my diet. Put all the lights off before going to sleep but was not sure if that was expected as I had no communication and was not sure if the host was there or not. It is always good to meet the host and to know what is expected and be made welcome.

it was a freezing cold night there is no room heater we asked for the heater he rudely answered there is no heater he was watching TV with loud volume didn't want to help us we left the accommodation immediately and went to a motel he is very rude person and no privacy in the bedroom at all

Piet was a lovely host. Very nice and clean place. He has a beautiful cockatiel. We were happy to stay there. The bed was very comfortable I recommend to visit this place
