Es ist eine sehr schöne, ruhige, abgelegene Lokation, in der man ein paar ruhige Tage zur Erholung verbringen kann. Zum Zeitpunkt wo wir waren, gab es Probleme mit den Sanitäranlagen und dem Wasser. Lyle war aber kulant und hat uns deswegen auch Geld zurück erstattet. Wir hatten nur andere Erwartungen, von der Beschreibung der Lokation. Das heisst die „Farm“ oder den „Fluss“ haben wir in der Form nicht vorgefunden/ gefunden. Wenn man ein paar Tage urig und im ruhigen verbringen möchte, ist es eine gute Lokation. Aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchte in den Bergen ist jedoch alles immer etwas klamm. Es wäre schön wenn die Grillausstattung/ Feuerholz/ Grillkohle vorrätig wären. Hinweis: Anreise nur mit 4x4 Auto möglich. Aber es war trotz allem ein schöner ruhiger Aufenthalt in der Natur.

We have been here a few times & the seclusion, peace & quiet never fail to impress us. They now have woodpeckers in addition to the ever present hummingbirds. The place feels so safe & peaceful that it allows one to enjoy nature & truly relax. Cottage & ground are spotless & well kept, beautiful gardens & walking trails a plenty. They have improved the trail down to the river & that is now an easy walk. As usual a great time was had by all. Big thanks to Lyle, Sonia & the rest of the staff for taking care of 'our' Holiday retreat. ;-)

Beautiful garden and views. The property manager Sonia left out some fresh fruits which was very thoughtful. We arrived after dark which seemed to be an issue because she doesn’t live on site and had to walk home in the dark after checking us in - maybe a lockbox with the key and check in instructions via Airbnb would be useful for late check ins. The house is rustic and quaint but needs better maintenance and cleaning to remove cobwebs and insects. All the pots and cooking utensils need replacing. The road up to the house was extremely difficult in our Toyota Corolla rental car. Unfortunately it was raining heavily during our stay so we couldn’t tour the farm or the rivers. We also had some issues with the plumbing. The property has huge potential but needs some more input to make it magic.

Lyle's place is VERY beautiful and peaceful. Some of the best things are the amount of lovely space. Big farm with landscaped scenery, cool breeze, fruit growing, water trickling, fire pit, comfy seating, A STREAM nearby, etc. If you are looking for a rustic place off the beaten path, to lounge in lovely landscaped nature, this is a great place. Some of it's best features could be barriers, but Lyle does a great job preparing you for it. He is flexible, responsive, and gave clear instructions. His directions were great and I'm glad we had a 4x4; not impossible without a 4x4, but I don't know if I personally would have been comfortable without one. It is far from restaurants/grocery stores etc, and runs on solar, so I'm glad he prepared me. Finally, as scene, there aren't gates or alarms or bars, so that can feel a bit unnerving, but he said he was moving towards having an onsite caretaker which I think would eliminate any problems of intruders.
