It’s rare in the world of Boston AirBnBs (and rarer in the small circle of long stays) to stumble on a triple threat: an AirBnb that’s clean and comfortable, with great transit options, and a good price. Here or there you’ll find an AirBnB in Boston with two of those, but if you’re a young professional and have the opportunity to stay at Yuki and Connell’s, you’ll get all three in spades. Let’s start with the apartment itself. The neighborhood is quiet with easy access to a grocery store, pharmacy, and city library 8-10 minutes away in Codman Square. There’s also a large park right across the street from the house if the spacious backyard and deck isn’t enough for you. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need, and I don’t think I’ve ever used a nicer washer and dryer in my life. The bed I had was comfortable too. The housemates are very busy and largely keep to themselves but are exceptionally clean and courteous. The neighbors are very nice as well. The access to transit is really what makes Yuki and Connell’s place a diamond in the rough. You are five minutes by foot from Shawmut Station on the Red Line (the best line, in my humble opinion). It gets you to the heart of downtown in 15-25 minutes. You can be in Cambridge in 30-40 minutes. Additionally, you do not need a resident permit to park on most of the streets around the house, which is an absolute relief -- but watch out for street sweeping days. If you haven’t lived in Boston, the Red Line + free parking is essentially nirvana. Third, you’re not going to beat this price for this quality. Perhaps you could find a shack in Saugus for a similar price, but really, Yuki and Connell’s can’t be beat. Finally, a word about Connell and Yuki. Yuki was super easy to communicate with, helpful, and very friendly. Connell is just a great guy. He texts you helpful heads up – like when there’s street sweeping – and he is super responsive to any issues (of which there are few). I don’t know if Yuki and Connell can sing, dance, or act, but their AirBnB is certainly a triple threat.

Great host and location! The environment is very clean and homey. People are very respectful of each other’s space. I would definitely come back here again!

Yuki and Connell were the best host that you could possibly ask for. They are both incredibly kind and down to earth people. If you ever have a problem or need anything, they were always available to help. The apartment is very clean and everyone living there pretty much keeps to themselves. The rooms are all a nice size. Great if you are working from home or a student. The location was perfect! It's about a 3 minute walk to Shawmut station (red line train). Grocery store is walking distance. Its just a great neighborhood in general (there's a nice park directly across the street). Overall, it was a great experience. Would most definitely book again.
