David is an excellent communicator. One of the best I’ve had. However, David’s place really needs some love and attention. The main for our stay was the inconsistency of water and water pressure. Some days there was no water at all and they were physically working on the issue with a technician when we arrived. The rooms didn’t have extra clean sheets. Without water it was difficult to wash the sheets, wash dishes, take a shower, or wash clothes. David was apologetic about this. The kitchen supplies were basic and the top lock to the front door didn’t work. However, the AC works well in the dining room and the main bedroom. I left a day early and David was kind enough to reimburse me without complaining. I recommend renting a car to explore the area. The Mercado in walking distance from the house was convenient.

We are grateful to have found this rental for our stay in La Chorrera! It’s in a lovely, clean, safe neighborhood near Puerto Caimito. It was a short 10 minute drive from our family in central Chorrera. There is a great market in walking distance (literally around the corner), and several others within minutes of driving. There is a small checkpoint directly outside the neighborhood, which made the lovely barrio feel even safer (it’s very easy to pass; they usually just wave you through, but sometimes will simply ask to see your ID; the officers are polite). We were very comfortable, slept well, cooked in a clean kitchen, washed our clothes and hung them to dry outside. Puerto Caimito beach is minutes away, where you can find excellent fish markets and a few bars for a tranquil beer and local culture. The small beach itself is sadly a little dirty with bottles littered, however we enjoyed a beer & music in the shade on a sunny day 👍🏼 We highly recommended this home!

David was very helpful during check-in. There was a store close by to purchase necessities. We had a medical procedure scheduled close by and it allowed us to get to it very easily. I would recommend this rental.
