The "Soulié sur Dadou" is more than a simple rental cottage, it is a true home for you to come enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The cottage was fully renovated to both stay true to its heritage and include a modern touch. Everything was carefully thought out and designed to create a space where everyone feels welcome and free to rest and enjoy the simple things. The cottage is immersed in nature, it was therefore designed to integrate with its environment with the utmost respect. The cottage is designed to offer a space for you to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and greenery at an altitude of 535m. Le Soulié's history dates back to the 11th century. In that time the monumental rock in the garden was first cut and fortified to serve as a foundation for a primitive castle. Then in the 17th century Le Soulié was a small hamlet that revolved around a mansion and its outbuildings, which included a sheepfold, a stable and a bakery. The sheepfold and the bakery were fully renovated and turned into homes; they will welcome you during your stay. Many activities are available on premise: in addition to the 1500 m² garden, 15000 m² park and 13 hectares of private forest grounds, the cottage is equipped with 6 bikes for adults and teenagers, a ping-pong table, various outdoors games and board games. The river that flows right next to the property is ideal for a summer swim and for fishermen (local license is required, please contact owner for details).
