I’ve stayed in Luigi’s apartment for 2 months and it’s really felt like home. The apartment is located 100 meters from a metro station from where you can get anywhere within 10-15 minutes. There’s also a supermarket, some local restaurants and only a 15 minutes walk to the central station. There’s a lift in the building and strong air conditioning in the apartment. The place is clean, equipped with everything you may need and even more. The bed is comfortable as well as sofa for guests. Luigi is very helpful, always available on the phone. The best thing about my stay was a possibility to check in at 4:30am after almost 24h trip. Also the price is affordable. If you come in two people who split costs, it’s better per person than renting a room in a shared apartment. I highly recommend Luigi as a landlord and also his place! Thank you so much!

Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man für mehrwöchige Aufenthalte zum Leben braucht. Sie war sehr sauber und es kam einmal die Woche eine Reinigungskraft, sodass dieser Zustand aufrechterhalten wurde. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet mit Gasherd, Ofen, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach und zahlreichen Küchenutensilien zum Kochen. Dort befindet sich auch eine Waschmaschine. Zum Trocknen der Wäsche steht einem ein großer Wäscheständer zur Verfügung. Im Schlafzimmer steht ein großes Bett für zwei Personen, auf dem es sich wunderbar schlafen lies. Der große Kleiderschrank bietet genügend Platz für Kleidung; es waren Kleiderbügel vorhanden. Überdies gibt es ein Bügeleisen mit Bügelbrett. Die Klimaanlagen sind modern und lassen sich individuell einstellen. Das WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei. Als es einmal nicht funktionierte, wurde dies umgehend behoben. Der Vermieter war sehr kooperativ und bestens zu erreichen. Ein- und auschecken funktionierte sehr gut und flexibel.

As a host, Luigi is both friendly and professional. He and his wife met us at the entrance to the apartment building and showed us up to the apartment itself. They gave some local recommendations and provided information about the apartment. Beyond that, the apartment spoke for itself, as it has a binder of information on everything from the wifi password to appliance manuals, etc. As other reviewers have said, access to public transport is excellent. Also pretty cool is the diversity of the neighborhood (called NoLo--north of Loreto). Besides Italian cafes, bakeries, and restaurants, within walking distance from the apartment, you will find plenty of Chinese, Peruvian, and some Middle Eastern and Indian food. Self-caterers may also appreciate access to ingredients from those cuisines at the several grocery shops/convenience stores throughout the neighborhood. Inside the apartment, we appreciated how much space is provided to store your belongings (we stayed for 1 month).
