Great place to stay as I had a wedding to attend at the nearby Rudding Park. The space was comfortable, clean, tidy and beautiful! Felt right at home and it was nice knowing the host Jenny was next door should there have been any problems. Very quiet area so lovely and peaceful at night . Jenny was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We had a 2 night stay at pointers place. Check in was very easy and lovely to be left to our own devices. Such a lovely quaint accommodation with everything we needed and expected. We attended a wedding at rudding park and was the ideal location to stay. The bed was absolutely amazing, big and comfortable! Would definitely recommend for a lovely weekend away!

This was a great place to stay for a wedding at Rudding Park. It's a 10 minute walk or a very short drive. We decided to stay the week to visit my wife's family in Yorkshire and had some great recommendations - Brimham Rocks which is National Trust with a large car park and cafe, York, Harrogate for shopping and Betty's Tea Room, Whitby Bay is around 75 miles away and Thirsk for the James Herriot Museum. If you have a Tesla like us, there is a supercharger in the local Garden Centre car park. Jenny sent a link to her recommendations for food and they were all good - Traveler's Rest is very close, the Confused Cow is a chain with excellent service, the Kestrel was great for atmosphere. The property was perfect for the pair of us and we would be happy to stay there again. Highly recommended!

Pointers Place is a charming bolt hole in the countryside, but close enough to the delights Harrogate has to offer. Thought has gone into making sure guests have everything they need for a relaxing home from home stay. Local biscuits and environmentally friendly toiletries are a nice touch. Jenny was extremely welcoming and helpful in recommending local places to visit - Fodders is a must. We can't wait to go back!
