I run a Farmstay in Nim Busty, Tunglabong, Kalimpong, India. We have veggies farming, food crops like corn, rice, millets farming as well. We also do have animals as chicken, fish, cow, goat and dogs in our farm. We also have Tea cultivation growing organic Darjeeling tea and we have a micro-mini tea factory nearby our farm. We are environment friendly and we are trying to go Zerowaste, we make vegetation compost and as well as learning to make vermi compost, we are also learning about permaculture so that we can implement it in our day to day lives. We have good places for nature walk, bird watching, camping, a riverside as well. We are a off-beat destination, and the market area is around 8.3kms from our farm- the market is in Gorubathan, so one should be prepared with their needs before hand coming to our farm. Our roads are off-beat so we would suggest one to have an off-road vehicle before coming to our farm, we do have safe parking areas near our farm if your vehicles cannot reach our farm, and we can receive and drop guest to the farm in our farm vehicles, and it is walkable distance from where the metal road finishes-if one has no issues with walking. We have most of our activities to be physical so we want people who visit our farm to know we work and walk usually all our activities and interest places. Our charges included in Airbnb community excludes travel costs.
