With air-conditioning, a private heated swimming pool (covered in winter), expansive garden and magnificent views of the Atlantic and of the surrounding countryside that offers fresh air, peace and tranquillity, you will want nothing more than to relax and enjoy this beautiful villa. Theo's House was only built a few years ago and has been furnished and decorated in character with it's countryside location with some beautiful antique pieces of furniture. Its exceptional location makes it the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday, lazing by the pool and soaking up the sun. For the more energetic, and especially those seeking walking in Madeira, it is hard to find a better starting point than this. The views of the sea and countryside seem to go on forever. The interior of the villa is very comfortable and has a layout that creates differentiated spaces and privacy. The spacious entrance hall opens is large and welcoming and leads, to a very large living area with open plan lounge and dining area, complete with pool table with French windows open directly to the garden and heated swimming pool. From the hall, a staircase leads down to 2 bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. The third bedroom on the upper level is the Master suite, with a private seating area, en suite shower room and balcony with sea view. All of the bedrooms have a television. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, electric hob, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is a Laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board. The lounge/dining area, entrance hall and master suite have air-conditioning. Outside there are plenty of sun loungers, sun umbrellas, dining table and chairs and a covered barbecue area. Swimming is possible all year round as there is a retractable pool cover. This is removed completely in the summer. Pool Heating is optional and costs €150 per week, payable locally on arrival. There are many walks around Fajã da Ovelha and easy access to the plateau of Paul da Serra, with its many levada walks, makes this villa perfectly located for walking in Madeira and for enjoying a lovely holiday surrounded by the beautiful Madeira countryside. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on. There are a few local snack-bars a little further away, and in Prazeres, only 4 Km away, you will find a supermarket and a selection of restaurants, as well as a cashpoint machine. Paul do Mar is a 10-minute drive down to the sea and, being a surfer’s paradise, has a few quirky bars and a small hotel. Calheta, with its man-made beach, is the nearest larger resort, 15 minutes by car, and has a branded supermarket, bank, pharmacy and selection of restaurants. Fajã da Ovelha has good access to the mountains of Madeira and many levadas in the surrounding countryside, perfect for walking in Madeira. Booking Notes The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time. To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time. Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out. Très belle maison, vaste, très bien équipée, belle piscine et paysage magnifique. Seuls bémols, l'éclairage publique qui ne s'éteint pas la nuit et empêche l'obscurité dans les chambres, et les oreillers bas de gamme. Sinon c'était parfait.
Beautiful, spacious, very well equipped house with wonderful heated swimming pool. The house, garden and pool were all sparkling clean upon arrival. We paid for the pool heating to be put on before our arrival so it was ready for immediate use. For a family, this was money well spent. Good communication with owners representative. Area quiet with beautiful view and local walks. Lots of fun & interesting things to do with a young family. Safe enclosed garden. Car essential to get the most of a stay at this beautiful place.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.
When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol.
The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout of Ponta do Sol.
At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout; take the 2nd exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel.
At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for 2,8Km.
At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharp right into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta).
At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km.
Reaching the next roundabout, take the second exit following signs to Calheta and through another tunnel until you reach the Calheta roundabout (2,5Km).
Go straight across (2nd exit) , signposted Prazeres (don’t turn left into Calheta) and enter a further tunnel, driving for 2,3Km.
When reaching the next roundabout, where you will find a BP Petrol Station, take the second turnoff indicated “Prazeres” and "Mercado Agricultores".
You will pass through Tunel dos Moinhos and the Tunel Jardim Pelado.
At the roundabout (where you find a BP petrol station on your right), go straight across, following the signs for Prazeres/Mercado Agrícola.
Continue in the direction of Porto Moniz, through the Tunel Lombo da Velha.
After the tunnel, continue along until the next roundabout.
Take the first exit signed posted "Lombada dos Cedros" and immediately after at the T-Junction turn left.
Follow the road for approximately 700m and you will came across a yellow house on the left hand side and a typical grocery shop on your right hand side, here please turn left to Caminho da 2a Lombada dos Cedros.
Go down this road until the end of the road, and Theo ́s house is the last house on your left hand side.

And of course, you want to make sure you are dealing with a dependable company. Our commitment is to provide a unique, personal service, using our in-depth knowledge of Madeira (our island home) and of all the villas and apartments we feature, to assist you in making the right holiday rental choice. For some of the properties we just handle the reservations on the owner's behalf, but for others we take care of the cleaning and maintenance and we will be there to greet you on arrival at the villa.
