We based ourselves at Mary Land for 5 weeks and loved every minute. From the tasty authentic breakfasts to sitting on the terrace chatting to the family and other guests. The property we stayed in is lovely and provided us with plenty of space. The surrounding area was just what we were looking for, restaurants and beaches within walking distance and easy to get to the city when required. We were made welcome wherever we went. The family are fantastic and we really feel that they enjoy having guests. You do hear the church but after a while it is just a noise you get used to. We had the best time.

Edwin's Villa is a three storey house with bedrooms on the first and second floors. The second floor is huge with lots of natural light. The terrace is a great place to relax. However, the sermons from a Church nearby start at 5 am sharp. Kindly carry ear plugs if you wish to sleep beyond 5. The only issue were the leaking health faucets in both the bathrooms. Otherwise, the bathrooms were clean. Edwin is a great guy, always there to help you. Our flight got delayed, but Edwin allowed us a very late checkout. The breakfast that he provides is authentic Kerala cuisine, simple and tasty! And we had two different fares for the two days that we were there. Overall, a nice place, just 200 metres from the beach. Enjoy your stay.

We had a lovely time at this home stay. Edwin and his family are wonderful and the home cooked breakfasts were delicious. We spent most of our time during the day in the city and found that being close to parks and the beach here was a nice break from the noise and crowded nature of that. Thanks for hosting us!

It was pleasure stay at Edwin’s Guesthouse. It is well maintained with nice decor. This guest house is opposite from a church and had a lot of prayers going on middle of the night with Loud speakers. Edwin’s hospitality was great! He did follow up before the stay and provided proper guidance to reach the guest house. Unfortunately we didn’t have much time to stay in the guest house due to catch the next flight. The rooms are very clean and bathrooms were in pristine condition. They provided complimentary coffee and it was amazing. Edwin arranged the taxi service when we needed it, early morning at 3 am.
