Kathie's house is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Well designed and built with great bathroom (loved the shower!), new kitchen and fantastic rumpus room. We loved the view from the deck, watching ships going up the Tamar and enjoying the sun (and shade when necessary!) Also loved the foosball table and many games had with the kids. Everything was provided - staples such as butter, spreads, tea, sugar, coffee (lovely pod machine) and lots of spices etc. Plus a bottle of wine - thank you! Great yard for the pooches and friendly neighbours, enjoyed taking the dogs for walks and chatting to some locals. Lovely quiet area with slow traffic. Thank you Kathie!

Rio Vista was a fantastic place to unwind and relax, the attention to little details made us feel right at home and the finishes, linen and amenities were all of great quality. Superb views of the river, watch the swans fly in and out while sipping your coffee or wine from the comfy deck chairs. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Kathie’s Rio Vista! Beautiful location on the Tamar Valley, close to beaches, vineyards, and great activities for kids. House is well appointed with all you need for a long stay, including cooking equipment and utensils, towels and linen, and games/activities for the whole family.

This is our 3rd return visit and already booked for next summer. Location is beautiful, house is beyond clean, appreciate quality bed linen and beds, no chips or cracks in kitchenware, but best of all with kids os the huge 2nd living area with games galore. Kathie is a beautiful host. We can’t wait until next summer! The little extras make all the difference. We are relaxed and ready to return to reality.

What a fabulous house!! It was absolutely comfortable, warm and just like home!! Fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need to cook like you were at home. Excellent communication, wine on arrival which we loved and personalised messages. Lots of games to play as a family and the setting was brilliant.
