The Host was great, the lodge not so much. Maybe I didn't read carefully enough prior to booking. The lodge was one of many cabins, lodges, etc in a circle drive setting. Constant vehicles driving in and out was loud and quite the distraction. The power went out a couple hours our first night and the generator kicked on. Really loud and had everyone awake. Contacted Host since it was middle of night, but was automatic so nothing could be done. There was an additional cabin really close to this lodge and parking for that was directly outside our bedroom window. Too small for the eight adults. Always felt crowded. Only one tiny shower through the main bedroom, just a tub/spray nozzle in the other bath. No Internet reception in the lodge itself. You were able to connect somewhat outside or in the upstairs loft. In no way was this private or secluded and for the price just disappointed.

I had a wonderful time gathering with some friends for a weekend snowshoeing trip. The lodge had everything we needed and our host was very responsive.

The place is authentic and really good for big group of people. The only complain is the signal and wifi is really bad. Location: Not very far to paradise inn. There is a small convenience store nearby but there are not much stuff. If you want to cook while you stay, you may need bring cooking oil and enough food. Otherwise there is a restaurant walking distance. It's a bit pricy and there are a lot of people when we ordered. We waited for 1 hour. Facility: The hottub is really nice! Enough towels, hot water for shower. A bit disappointed that there is no laundry :( There are some board games, books, videos. I did not try the fire wood but it's nice to have for winter. The bed frames in the room near the hot tub are not too stable, but should not be a big problem. Communication: the host is very responsive :) Overall thank you for hosting us
