This was a beautiful getaway in the woods. The house is newly renovated with tons of natural light and a cozy space. The check in instructions and provided information were perfectly clear. We got in easily, and found a bottle of wine, some chocolates, and miscellaneous snacks, which were a very nice welcoming touch. The hosts had also included a little booklet of nearby amenities, recommendations, etc. The kitchen is more like a well stocked kitchenette than a full kitchen. It’s very well stocked for its size, and we had brought materials to cook some simple meals, so it worked perfectly for our needs. It’s called out in the listing, but note that this space is up a second story via a tight spiral staircase. You may have some difficulty if you bring your largest suitcase. The staircase has string lights to illuminate it nicely at night. Clean water, good cell reception, and very fast WiFi. Board games and a TV with Netflix All in all, a lovely space. Highly recommend :)

We recently stayed at Laura’s Airbnb, and it was an absolute gem. The place is beautiful and nestled in the woods with wonderful views of their creek. Wonderful wildlife wake you up in the morning, and it was truly a serene escape from the noise from our daily lives. Laura’s hospitality was exceptional; always going above and beyond to accommodate us. The cabin itself was cozy and charming, with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially enjoyed evenings, listening to the soothing sounds of nature just outside our window. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with hiking trails and quaint towns just a short drive away. Overall, our stay was nothing short of magical, and we can’t wait to return for another peaceful getaway.

I have nothing but great things to say about The Nest! Out of all the homes I’ve been welcomed into, this was definitely my favorite. The home itself is beautiful! The woodwork, decor, the shower! It felt like I spent half the time in just the bathroom alone staring out the skylight. Oh, and the bed! It was even comfier than my bed at home. Combined with the peace and quiet of the woods, I slept like a baby and did not want to leave. The home also had everything you’d need. Little games for a fun night in, all the day-to-day cooking appliances , and the tv was already signed into so we didn’t even have to worry about streaming services/ entertainment. The home is sat on a gorgeous plot surrounded by trees and a small creek. Lastly, Laura and Ian were extremely welcoming and open. We were able to chat with them for a bit and seemed like such kind hearted people. They truly made our stay feel complete. My only gripe is that I couldn’t stay longer!

I would rate it 6/5 stars if that was possible, everything here just works, even more than that, the hosts are amazing people. The area has a lot to offer, very beautiful and fun to drive around. Will be back!
