The "host" appears to be a distant owner. There is a system in place where a rental company manages the building; we were simply given their number for all arrival & location & maintenance issues. Some English spoken. Had to go and sign a contract (all in Arabic) and scan passports for checking. This location partly matches listing. It was good location for us, as we were in Alexandria visiting friends that lived in the same tower complex. However, for a similar price we could have had a place right on the beach, and probably better cared for. The house was poorly lit (especially kitchen) and felt dingy. The counters were dirty in the kitchen, and we needed to rewash all the dishes before using. When we arrived, there were no towels, soap, or shampoo, or cleaning materials. The local manager went and bought us 3 towels (for 5 people) and cleanup rag & dishsoap. No internet the first night. Once working, only 2 devices at a time could connect. Nice and off-the-beaten-track place nearby Of everything, the apartment is clean, 24-hour security, and there is everything you need to advise in it, as well as brother Adel, a good man with high morals and very respectful
