We recently stayed at The Woodpeckers (3/24/24 - 3/31/24). Our first visit to England so we weren’t sure what to expect now we know our decision was best. Beautiful cottage in the countryside; perfect home away from home. Angie and her husband were very welcoming, respectful and most of all KIND. The property looked like something out of a movie. It was breathtaking. They welcomed us, gave us some suggestions on some things to do and places to eat. They were very helpful. The 1 bedroom cottage was beautiful, warm, clean and comfortable. It had the best fireplace in the living room I would sleep there every night if I could 😊 The kitchen was stocked with fresh eggs, milk, fresh bread, butter, jams, cereal, fresh coffee and tea. Besides the cottage they had a beautiful property you can walk around, glance at some animals and a gym you could utilize. I wish we could have done these things more if we weren’t so busy. We highly recommend The Woodpeckers and Angie. Till next time!!

Had the most amazing stay in the cottage. Lovely welcome from Angela and having a welcome breakfast pack waiting for me. The place was so warming and so clean and I loved every minute being there especially the log burner and the awesome bath!! I needed a quiet peaceful stay and that’s exactly what I got. I will most definitely be returning again. Thank you.

Angela’s place was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The area is very private and is a lovely place to go and relax. Angela was a very responsive and helpful host. Will definitely be staying here again.

This our 3rd visit and it was wonderful as always. Angie is a fantastic host and the cottage is one of our favourite getaway vacation.
