A lovely place for those who simply want a comfortable stay with basic amenities. No cleanliness issue. I got a room on the first floor (not the ground floor) near the reception desk with a view of the opposite building. Quite serene at night with the glimmering lights. The curtains were blackout, though. No need to worry about loud noises. No closet, but they do have a mounted clothing rack enough to hang around 5 clothes at a time and extra hangers. A desk and a cabinet with a telephone were provided, but no chairs. There was only one mirror, which was in the private bathroom, and I had the keep the bathroom door open to use the mirror lol Neither bathroom mat nor slipper was provided, so you can prepare them if you're concerned about being barefooted in the bathroom and walking out with wet feet. The ironing place and drink dispenser were in front of the reception desk. Didn't use the Wifi because I forgot to ask for the password and it was public. Alas, no issue with the internet connection when using phone data. Lots of eateries within a walking distance (e.g.: Mamak nasi kandar, Richiamo Cafe, Old Town White Coffee, Pappa Rich, Sushi King, Mykori, Secret Recipe, street burger stall) A few convenient stores and healthcare stores were also nearby (e.g.: 7-Eleven, KK Mart, Nice2CU, pharmacy, polyclinic, dental clinic, laser treatment clinic) The car parking was quite hard to find especially during working hours. I suggest you install the Smart Selangor app to make the parking payment. Parking coupons were hardly available. Around 10-15 minutes away from IIUM Gombak. The host was very helpful in answering my questions too. Thank you for the good service.
