Susan was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. When we arrived we received a warm greeting from her along with all of the friendly cats and horses. My friends and I travelled to see the eclipse and the view was remarkable, as there was so much open space. We had a wonderful time! Some of the cats, Gabby and Mia, even joined us watching the eclipse!

We stayed a few days here, and it was such a lovely few days! We didn’t want to leave, and my 9 year old son said he wants to go back! It rained the whole time, but this little guesthouse was so comfy and so peaceful!!! Susan was always responsive and welcoming. We arrived very early in the morning and she was very accommodating to our odd arrival and departure times! Even though we had a lot of rain and my son wasn’t able to spend a lot of time with the horses, he was still able to say hi to them, give them a pat which he loved. We’d love to be back soon, hopefully with better weather. But if you’d like a peaceful getaway, I definitely recommend!! Thank you, Susan!

This cozy cabin was a great place to stay. It is close enough to Cleveland, Akron, and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park yet far enough away to have a peaceful feeling set back in the woods. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Mark and Susan suggested a number of them and they did not disappoint! We would definitely stay here again!

Couldn’t be happier! Mark and Susan went absolutely above and beyond. I am an Ohio native - grew up around the corner from this location (they have multiple rental properties all equally beautiful) and wanted to have my better half experience some of my hometown’s rural beauty in Cuyahoga County. Well, it worked! Nightly fires, sunsets in the valley, stars, free from road noise, horses, trails, local metro parks, a great brewery, coffee and donut shops, local access to necessities and restaurants, Hinckley Lake, etc. can’t go wrong. Mark and Susan would Catch us when we were out and about to extend the offer of exploration and the tools needed to do so on their grounds. However, you’re 100% private as a renter here if you don’t wish to venture! I’d suggest you welcome their generous tour-guide offers though as there’s really not another place to be as special as a property in this area in Ohio. Truly special - please ask these folks to be your guide!

Susan's homes are an oasis of calm in beautiful horse country Ohio. We have stayed with Susan before, and the home was beautiful, private, and so well managed. This time we rented the Bunk house, which has a wonderful outdoor patio with a fabulous pool. Our children and grandchild came out to swim with us while we stayed, making wonderful memories for us all. Susan has such a talent for focusing on detail in her properties...The three we have seen are decorated so perfectly and yet provide a comfortable "home away from home". And they are such hosts!...We can't wait to return!
