We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa in Parrano. The property is spacious and charming, and the view is absolutely beautiful. It also feels very private, but at the same time very close to town. The communication with the host / property manager was fantastic - they were extremely helpful with everything! From organizing a party, a private chef and even a pasta class for us, and recommending a great photographer, to bringing us to the grocery store, helping with wine selection, flowers and literally everything we needed. We felt at home and treated like a family. The property has plenty of space for a large group and all the amenities needed.

Unfortunately this is the first time when I have to say, that descriptions and photos did not match the reality. For the price we paid we really expected more and we are not from the picky people.. First of all kitchen appliances are outdated - dishwasher broke down on 2nd day of our stay and was not repaired at all (we were staying in place for 2 weeks and we were more that 12 people), laundry machine has its last days and sounds like an airplane engine at take off, oven was dirty and not heating enough to cook something properly. Not to mention that few bathroom doors were broken, other doors making loud sounds, in kitchen you can really introduce yourself with the smell of mold in each corner. Most probably due to dishwashers bad functioning previous tenants had left the dishes a bit dirty and sticky, we had to wash everything before using. Furniture is dirty with stains and mostly broken - the couch in living room sits on few wood logs =( All place was dusty and poorly cleaned.

Waren zum zweiten Mal hier und haben uns wie beim ersten Mal wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus ist einfach so super aufgeteilt, sodass es auch für größere Gruppen perfekt geeignet ist. Freuen uns schon so sehr auf nächstes Mal! Eindeutige Herzensempfehlung :)

We stayed here for 2 weeks as a family group of 16. Overall we loved our stay. The property manager Silvia was very helpful and friendly whenever we needed to contact her. The villa has many great qualities. All 8 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and air con. The beds are comfy and there was plenty of space. The pool was excellent and the views out over the valley are superb. However there were a few, easy to fix, things that let this place down. Firstly, the villa is home to 4 cats and 2 kittens, which guests are expected to feed. This is not clear when booking and isn’t something we expect to have to do on holiday. The villa is also slightly more run down than the photos indicate. The outside seating areas aren’t as numerous as in the photos or as well kept, and, while decent, the kitchen could be better equipped with wine glasses and un-chipped plates and bowls. For the price, the villa is good value and was great for us, but it could be even better with small changes.

Our family of ten very much enjoyed our stay in Casale Silvia. The house, annexes, the garden and pool were wonderful! The view is breathtaking! Silvia was very nice and welcoming and Parrano is a beautiful little village. However, we won’t be returning due to two things - It would’ve been nice to know about the cats. There are five cats living outside next to the front door who had to be fed every morning. This was fine, but when eating at the patio they would steal our food, and at night they slept in the garden furniture which meant that the three of us who were allergic, couldn’t use the area. The second reason is that there is a lot of mold on the walls downstairs. The living room and kitchen are both great hangouts, well equipped and cool when it’s hot outside, but we didnt want to use it more than necessary due to the mold. All in all, we had a great vacation, but it would’ve been nice to be able to use the whole house fully :)
