We enjoyed a lovely week at Ram cottage. The location is stunning. So lovely to open the front door and look/ walk across the bay. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped. Very comfortable bed. We had a very cosy week here. It was perfect to spend Easter in Glenelg. We enjoyed a trip to Sandaig beach, and a couple of trips on the ferry to walk in Skye. Thanks for a lovely stay. We’d love to return.

We fell in love with Ram Cottage. It was perfect for our week in Glenelg, and we are very keen to go back later this year. It is in a gorgeous location at Riverfoot. As the name suggests, the river flows into Glenelg Bay right outside the house and the views from upstairs are sublime. The beach is five minutes’ walk in one direction and the village, including the cosy Glenelg Inn, less than ten minutes in the other direction. The delightful Glenelg turntable ferry to Skye was not running on this visit in February - too early in the year. It didn’t matter. We drove round by the bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh to Skye and Raasay on three of our six days at the cottage. We strongly recommend the cafe at Chocolates of Glen Shiel in Shiel Bridge, and we liked the coffee shop at Eilean Donan Castle too. Ram Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. It was home from home.

Het is een mooi huisje op een prachtige plek. Het is wel duur voor een ietwat oubollig huisje. Het is van alles voorzien en je hebt een prachtig uitzicht over het water en de veranderingen in eb en vloed.
