Beautiful cottage in a spectacular location. Brilliantly equipped and spotless inside. The only slight complaint is that the sign at the entrance to the drive could be better positioned, in the dark we struggled to see it behind the other signs.

Stunning location with views towards Ben Nevis etc. Huge house with big rooms. Not that easy to find though, could do with more signs to direct you. Needs loads of TLC, this place could be so much better. No welcome pack, No info on how to use the heating, we had no TV for the whole week and still not working the day we left. As much as we loved the location, we were disappointed and wished we had read reviews across the many sites Pinewood is on.

Pinewood cottage was, quite simply, stunning. Gorgeous, spacious, interior, and amazing views over to the Nevis range. Waking up to see a snow capped Ben Nevis bathed in the warm morning sunlight is something we won't forget for a while. Inside, the bedrooms were all generous sizes, and the size of the kitchen was a delight to work in. With one smaller table in the kitchen, and a larger table in the dining room, there was certainly plenty of space for meals. Having a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble drier also helped make life simple. The living room was also very spacious, with a usable open fire, which was lovely to have going after a day out in the cool highland air. Highly recommended place to stay, great value, and would be very hard to beat for a large family group looking to explore the Highlands together.

Fantastic view with standard service and facilities. You can have mountain and canal view same time. I don’t think you ask for more in-terms of view. Could be little more clean and need some fixing (like toilet door).
