This place was amazing, spent a month their with my family, it was so peaceful but also easy to get to the local towns. The little house is exactly what you'd want for a get away, good aircon and a small pool to cool off in. A Pétanque games area and plenty off space for kids to run around. We had our bikes with us and there is a cycle route converted from an old train line which makes the journeys around very enjoyable. Only takes about 10 mins to cycle into Sauve. Sauve is beautiful with amazing restaurants. The drive to Nice and Montpellier is easy. Loads of other activities in the area (caves, bamboo forest). If recommend staying and would go back again.

We loved our stay Apart from what we have said, it was the attention to detail - Pots of flowers and garden were lovely and well maintained. - Edibles in the garden were great - pick your own tomatoes and aubergine - a lovely homely touch. Would be great to have a couple of herbs to use as well such as thyme for cooking. - Quiet, peaceful, surrounded by greenery and away from other people apart from the chateau - so not isolated - Place very clean and in good condition - Lovely décor – attention to details – throws, furniture, simple, black out curtains but well appointed but attractive - Lighting inside and outside – v good - Outside furniture – very good – modern but sympathetic Met all our criteria and more.

Très bon séjour dans le logement de Sophie. Le cadre y est paisible et la piscine et la Clim sont un vrai luxe en période de canicule. Je recommande !

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der wunderschönen Unterkunft von Sophie. Das Haus ist neu renoviert, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sogar größer als es auf den Fotos wirkt. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt und verfügt über eine hervorragende zentrale Klimaanlage. Draußen sorgt der Pool für Erfrischung. Es gibt Terrassen auf beiden Seiten des Hauses, so dass man beispielsweise morgens im Schatten frühstücken kann. Die Lage ist mitten in der Natur mit herrlichem Blick in die Berge und trotzdem ist es mit dem Auto nicht weit in den Ort. Das mittelalterliche Städtchen Sauve liegt malerisch am Fluss und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung beispielsweise in Richtung der Cévennen. Sophie war immer ansprechbar und hat uns mit guten Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We stayed here for a month in May. The house is well presented in a secluded area. Most of the appliances seemed new and were in great condition. We had a couple of plumbing related problems, but Sophie and her husband were very quick to sort them out for us. They are great hosts and even helped us with an unexpected medical emergency! The house is situated near to Suave (about a 20 minute walk) where there are plenty of nice restaurants & bakeries. The pool is unheated, but had warmed up to a swimmable temperature by the middle of May.
