A beautiful location that unfortunately left us a bit traumatized. Let me explain: Our stay started off great. The place even came with 2 adorable stray dogs that we were told have been there for 3 months . As we’re enjoying the sunset we notice a large shadow in the corner. A 90+ lbs German Shepard standing in an aggressive pose . We try to shoo him thinking it’s a stray. He viciously attacks the little stray- little one eventually gets away while we’re pinning this massive dog but bleeding pretty bad. The owner shows up ( it’s his dog) he tells us the strays have fleas and we should watch out . ZERO remorse. Offers us a bottle of wine on the house. The little dog was bleeding and hiding in another villa all the while we can hear his cry’s . Honestly we felt as if he was letting his dog hunt for these strays. We love dogs and this was extremely traumatizing and something we cannot forget. This situation was 100% avoidable and instead ruined our vacation.

En’kanto was awesome. Staff were very attentive, breakfast was amazing Beto and the staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had. overall was a success!
