. Merci beaucoup. Nous reviendrons.
Perfekte Lage, super zentral.
The apartment we offer is ideally located in the city center of Marseille. You can make many visits without using your vehicle.
You can make many discoveries on foot!It is a few steps from Rue de République.
Only two minutes walk from the tramway and Joliette Metro station. You are next to the Place de la Joliette, an eight-minute walk from the Old Port's shadow and at the entrance to the Panier district.Place de la Joliette, named by Julius Caesar, is the most dynamic district of the city. It is experiencing a real renewal since the installation of the Euroméditerranée economic center.
It is home to the city's two largest (and most beautiful) shopping malls, and many dynamic businesses are moving into it. It is the emblem of the Marseille of the future with the construction of two towers built by Jean Nouvel and Zaha Hadid, world renowned architects.T
he auditorium Le Silo hosts the greatest artists and shows. The part of the Rue de la République, which joins the apartment, is also very dynamic. Next door, you will find the very trendy complex (bar, restaurant, workshop) The Babel Community or, the charming shop, The Selection, of the decorator and animator of M6, Sophie Ferdjani.
The shopping center Les Terrasses du Port, in addition to its many shops, has a huge panoramic terrace overlooking the sea.
From April, restaurants, bars and clubs, organize parties in rooftop with a breathtaking view of the sea.
All you have to do is cross the Rue de la République and go down a few dozen meters to find a staircase that will take you directly to the Panier district, the oldest and most picturesque part of the city.
When you go down Rue de la République, you will arrive at the Old Port. From there, you can explore the Frioul Islands, the coves by boat or, by sea shuttles, from the end of April to go to Goudes, Pointe Rouge or Estaque.
From the ombrére, epicenter of Marseille, many buses will take you to the four corners of the city.I will tell you many more places to discover when we meet. It would be far too long to detail here all the beautiful things to discover in Marseille and its surroundings!
See you soon !
Sandra.
Metro Joliette one minute walk: It serves the city center (Noaille stop), Saint-Charles train station, Cours Julien (Notre Dame du Mont stop), Place Castellane, Velodrôme stadium (Rond-point du Prado stop) ).
The Republic tram: It serves the city center or the Longchamps palace. In the other direction he will take you to the Silo.
Bus 82: In front of the Terraces of the port. It serves the MUCEM, the Old Port, the Palais du Pharo, the beach of Catalans. It has a more touristy route and is much cheaper than tourist buses.
Bus cards are available at some tobacconists. Look for those carrying a RTM sign or, in vending machines, subway stations. In buses, single cards are more expensive. You will need to add extra. Drivers do not often have money. As a family, or if you use the transport many times prefer refillable cards (10 or 20 euros).
The maritime shuttles:
They operate from the end of April to the end of September.
They will take you to the Port of Pointe Rouge, Estaque and Goudes.
I give you a tip: If you come with your family. Take with you identity photos and proof of address. This will allow you to make a RTM transport card (free). With a subscription to the week (about 13 euros) shuttles will be free (otherwise 5 to 8 euros one way).
Shuttle buses to the island of Friuli or the castle of If
All year round, shuttles will take you to the island of Friuli or to the Château d'If (sun cream, hat and sunglasses mandatory!). They are Quai de la Fraternité behind the shelter.
Prices: 10,80 euros one way and 16,20 round trip (family rate from four people).
The nearest station is Place de la Joliette
Motorway access:
Access to the apartment is very simple and very fast because the exit of the A7 is nearby, next to the shopping center Les Terrasses du Port. It's also simple, if you come by the A80 because the tunnel Prado Carenage allows you to cross the city and to leave next to the Terraces of Port, also (it is paying but it saves a considerable time).
