Great location in District 1, close to tourist attractions and 15 minutes walk to centre past the Cathedral and onto the River. Plenty of food and bar options in local area too. The apartment is spacious, really well equipped and with great views towards the city. The roof top pool is a great space to escape the heat and madness below and combined with the apartment made it a perfect base to explore the city and relax too. It was a great stay for two couples who had their own space and privacy and benefits of the location and facilities to enjoy the 5 days we spent here. Carl was responsive when needed, although the details for the booking are comprehensive and easy to follow. We also appreciated the flexibility on check out as my daughters plane was delayed on her return. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone planning to stay in HCMC

Great apartment, 5min walk to the independence palace. The kids enjoyed the large pool on the roof. There are offices on one side but an amazing view from the living room.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carl’s place in the Avalon complex. It was well equipped, clean and a peaceful base for our family to return to after exploring busy Ho Chi Minh City.

Walkable to many important sights but still quiet. Check in was easy with the front security desk. Pool was clean and very enjoyable on a humid day. The apartment is big and spacious. Comfortable beds too.

Very comfortable and spacious apartment with excellent airco as well! Nice hub to explore HCM city from. We stayed for over a week, and also used the gym and pool. Maid service about 3x per week. Fast internet. The construction noise was pretty minimal: you don’t hear any power tools, just some hammering.
