Great Homestay with a lovely family! Great view from the room and walking distance to the monastery. Stanzin helped me find a driver for my trip and answered lots of my questions. His family were very nice and the home was cozy.

I had the most delightful 1-month stay at Old Likkir Farm Stay! Initially, I booked for just one day, and ended up continuing for an entire month. I was looking for a peaceful place to practice Yoga and meditation and this was just the perfect spot. Stanzin and Tsomo warmly welcomed me to their peaceful traditional village abode. Nestled beneath the Likir Monastery, the clean fresh air and stunning Ladakh Himalayan views offered a serene escape. The room was cozy and comfortable, designed with local materials, and the mesmerizing valley view from the room was truly captivating. Stanzin also helped me in going for some local treks, he is an amazing guide. Activities like pottery, walking in the fields and forest nearby, as well as attending prayers in the monastery were delightful. The organic traditional food served was a treat. Old Likkir Farm Stay is a treasure that I highly recommend to anyone seeking peace in an authentic Himalayan getaway. I'll definitely visit again.

Der Hof von Stanzin und seiner Familie liegt in einem wunderschönen Tal und die Aussicht ist atemberaubend !!! Er und seine Familie haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und das Essen war Weltklasse. Auch haben wir Touren mit ihm gemacht zu sehr fairen Preisen. Besonders für Paare könnte das Glaszimmer etwas sein. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen es ist ein kleines Stück Paradies hier und fast ein kleines Stück zuhause geworden. Lohnt sich auf alle Fälle hier zu übernachten.

Staying at Old Likkir Farmstay was an amazing experience. Stanzin is a great host with lot of experience as a trekker. The place is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable, with a great view. All the meals prepared by Stanzin’s wife Somu were delicious. If you wish to enjoy the silence, the beauty and the warm hospitality, Likir would be the place to stay.

This was the second time I stayed at Stanzin’s Old Likir Guesthouse. Stanzin and his wife are the perfect hosts, and he has lovely children. The rooms are clean and the view on the Likir monastery and surounding mointains is very beautiful. It is the perfect place to relax for some days and enjoy the village life. Just like last time Stanzin accompanied us on a 6 day trek. He knows a lot about local culture and is a pro at spotting wildlife! It is more like going on an adventure with a good friend. Last time we did a trek during wintertime, lots of snow and a change at spotting a snow leopard! Thank you and I hope I van return to Likir soon!
