Welcome to Maison Giri, a recently renovated mid-century villetta near Durbuy, in the Belgian Ardennes. Discover this petite jewel as your home away from home and recharge your body, mind and heart in the spacious Zen-garden. The surrounding area has been designated as an official bird sanctuary so you will have the opportunity to observe beautiful local varieties of birds as well as visiting chipmunks who get attracted to the Oak trees growing on the property. For your special relaxing moments, we designed a lovely bath tub experience, especially shaped to provide you with the utmost comfort, while enjoying your immersion. We recommend using sea salt and essential oils to sooth your body and mind. The villetta is designed according to Vastu architecture, the science of architecture like Feng Shui, and inspired by elements of local culture as well based on minimalist principles. The villetta, fully renovated in 2018, with guidance from sustainable luxury designer Mandali Mendrilla and featuring some of her original art, is designed with minimum waste in mind so the elements that could be upgraded were given a new life. Mandali preserved the Sixties-style of the interior for a retro look. She furthermore curated the interior with a touch of Asian art and aligned it with the laws of Vastu architecture in harmony with nature, which adds to the style of the villetta.
